Costanza Conforti

I am a second-year PhD student at the Language Technology Lab of the University of Cambridge, where I work under the supervision of Dr. Nigel Collier and Dr. Taher Pilehvar on a range of Semantics-related NLP tasks. I am a member of the CDT in 'Data, Risk and Environmental Analytical Methods' (DREAM).

I hold an MSc in Computational Linguistics (Natural Language Processing) with Minor Computer Science from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität of Munich (CIS - LMU). During my masters, I was partly supported by DAAD and I lived at the Stiftung Maximilianeum as a visiting student from the land where the lemon trees blossom.

Before joining the LTL, I was a working student at Siemens Machine Intelligence group, where I now collaborate working on industrial applications of NLP. Previously, I was a teaching and research assistant in Machine Translation at Prof. Alex Fraser's group. Prior to that, I interned at FBK Machine Translation group.
